Overview

Shopify is a powerful ecommerce platform that allows you to create an online store in no time; Business Central is Microsoft's online ERP that allows you to optimize your business processes. The synchronization between the two tools allows you to connect information, create a better shopping experience and get better results. 

Through Shopify's connector to Business Central, orders, stock units and customer information are synchronized providing much more data on business status and future prospects. 

Advantages

  • Allows you to integrate multiple Shopify stores into Business Central. Each of them has its own configuration, e.g. product catalogs.
  • Import orders from Shopify:
  • During import you can create customers automatically in Business Central or manage them from Shopify.
  • Includes orders created on other channels such as Amazon.
  • Shipping costs, gift cards, gratuities, shipping and payment methods, transactions and fraud risk.
  • Receive payment information from Shopify Payments.
  • The synchronization of products is bidirectional. For example, the images or qualities of each product or the export of price groups or discounts. It works from one platform and is automatically exported to the other.
  • Inventory synchronization levels.
  • Bidirectional synchronization of customers. For example, country-specific templates can be used.
  • Traceability of information.

Implementation

This connector is enabled for Buisness Central online.

The app will be pre-installed for new customers and existing customers will be able to download it from the AppSpource. 

Developments

This application is expected to be available for all countries and regions.
