The latest developments in the Microsoft 365 environment seek to offer a more integrated experience for the user by deepening the connection between the tools that are part of their daily lives.

Tighter integration between Dynamics 365 and Teams at no additional cost
It has been one of the great innovations of Microsoft Inspire 2021 and is one of the most awaited improvements by the user community. At a time when hybrid work is present in one way or another in most companies, Teams continues to be the great ally of workers. In fact, it currently has 145 million daily active users. The tighter integration between Dynamics 365 and Teams enables the following actions:
- View and edit Dynamics 365 records directly from Teams workflows. Dynamics 365 users in the company can invite anyone in the company to view customer records and collaborate from a Teams chat or channel.
- Add a Teams meeting to appointments and capture notes. In other words, it enables access to key customer information during Teams calls.
- Configuration of automated notifications and connected workflows to keep users updated on records. You can select specific chats and channels to send notifications to and you can also configure the frequency of notifications.
- New simplified app buying experience in Teams that now includes third-party collaborative applications such as Workday or Salesforce.
More protection
Safety ¡, inclusion, accessibility and sustainability are strengthened.
For example, the preview version of Microsoft 365 Lighthouse has been introduced that allows identifying threats, suspicious logins and device compliance alerts. It offers standard security configuration templates to protect devices, data and users.
In addition, end-customer fraud protection is strengthened with the integration of Dynamics 365 Fraud Protection and Azure AD B2C.
Microsoft Viva
More than 21 new partner integrations with Microsoft Viva have been announced and will be available over the next few months. The goal is to enable IT administrators to bring solutions to Viva via APIs.
