ClickDimensions and Microsoft Teams: new and long awaited integration

Release of version 11.4 of marketing tool enables long-awaited integration between ClickDimensions and Microsoft Teams

With the latest update of the ClickDimensions digital marketing platform - natively integrated into Dynamics 365 - the connector with Teams Meeting and Live Events is enabled. This way, Teams event information and registrants will automatically appear in the CRM, in the ClickDimensions events entity. Teams joins Webex, Zoom, GoToWebinar and Cvent as event management platforms that can be integrated into ClickDimensions through a simple connector.

This integration automatically updates the information every hour by connecting the data with the marketing area's contacts and leads. This information is data about the event and the people who have registered for the event.

Pre-configurations in Azure Directory

For the connector to work properly, it is necessary to configure an application in Azure Directory. To do so, the following steps must be followed:

  1. Navigate to portal.azure.com and access the Azure Active Directory section.
  2. Go to App registrations and click on New registration. In the next screen give a name to the application.
  3. Once the app is created, open it and access its API permissions. The following are required:
    1. Calendars.Read
    2. OnlineMeetings.Read.All
    3. Users.Read
    4. Users.Read.All
  4. Navigate to Certificates and secrets and select New client secret. This will be used when enabling the connector.
