This year's second wave of Microsoft updates introduces two important new features for customers with Navision (Business Central) .
Discontinuity of Business Central v14 version
This is the latest version with Windows Client and C/AL programming language. As of October 1, 2020, it will no longer be possible to upgrade the license or request new lic enses for this version. Therefore, from this date onwards, the upgrade or new licenses will have to be for later Business Central versions (v15 to v17). These only include the client with WEB interface and the new programming language (AL).
BREP payment on a monthly basis
Another new feature for Navision (Business Central) customers is that Microsoft has launched a campaign that allows them to pay the BREP on a monthly basis. Until now it was done on an annual basis. It is necessary to request it before the expiration of the annual renewal. In addition, the end customer can take advantage of this campaign for 3 years without any commitment.
