Eligible companies may apply for the voucher from March 15 at 11:00 a.m. and can obtain up to a maximum of 12,000 euros for their digitization.
The BOE of February 26 has published the first call for the Digital Kit bonus with an allocation of 500 million euros for SMEs between 10 and 49 workers, which will be eligible for a maximum of 12,000 euros in subsidies. The deadline for the presentation of the grants for companies of this size (Segment I of the Regulatory Bases of the funds) will be 6 months, from March 15 at 11 a.m. until September 15 at the same time or, if applicable, until the budget credit is exhausted. These aids will be granted directly and based on the criterion of presentation of the application and availability of credit.
This first call for aid from the Digital Kit for the digitization of self-employed and SMEs is contextualized with the objectives of Agenda España Digital 2025, the SME Digitization Plan 2021-2025 and the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan Next Generation EU. The aim is to improve and boost the digitization of SMEs in the national market to increase their competitiveness and resilience in the market.
The European Funds allocate 3,067 million euros to the Digital Kit voucher to invest in different digitalization sectors such as process management, customer management or analytics. The process is carried out through official digitalizing agents that will be available in Acelera Pyme - the portal for managing the grants - from March 10.
How to apply
In addition to size, candidate companies must comply with other requirements such as being up to date with their fiscal and tax obligations, being registered in the Census of Entrepreneurs, Professionals and Withholders of the State Tax Administration Agency (or the equivalent of the Regional Tax Administration) or not exceeding the de minimis aid limit, among others.

Companies of other sizes: forecast of calls in other segments
The first call for proposals of the Digital Kit is aimed at Segment I companies. In the coming months, the calls for the other segments will be launched. According to statements made by the general director of Red.es, the call for companies with between 6 and 9 employees is expected to take place before the summer and the call for self-employed companies in September.
