Microsoft Viva is a tool that ensures that employees are connected to the company's approaches, can access resources and gain insights into their productivity. It consists of four interconnected modules: connections, ideas, topics and learning. All Microsoft Viva modules are available now and can be purchased through the Viva joint plan at a special offer of $9/user/month through August 2022. The announcement of general availability comes with some enhancements and new partnerships for each module.
Viva Connections
It brings together conversations and news of interest on everyday devices (soon also on smartphones). It is already integrated with several applications such as Workday, ServiceNow, Qualtrics or UKG. Now it will also be possible to add cards for Approvals, Shifts and Tasks from Microsoft Teams. And integration with Espressive will be enabled.
Viva Ideas
Added functionality to boost productivity in Ideas Viva through data-driven conclusions and recommendations with privacy protection measures:
- New tools for managers that will allow them to stay connected with team members, follow up on pending tasks and get recommendations for different types of practices.
- New effective meeting experience in the Viva Ideas app for Teams. Organizers will get personalized suggestions and conclusions to improve meeting habits.
- Four additional languages (Spanish, French, Portuguese and German) in Headspace guided mediations.
Viva Topics
Through Artificial Intelligence, Temas Viva organizes content according to related topics such as projects or customers. This information is organized into pages and appears to users as a kind of wiki. Knowledge will soon be unlocked from more sources:
- Integration of Teams Viva into Outlook, Yammer, Bing and user profile cards.
- Tracking of content created in Spanish, French and German.
Viva Learning
Another of Microsoft Viva's modules is Viva Learning. This module works on the workflow that connects the company's content, learning management systems, external providers and Microsoft. Some of the new features it presents are the following:
- You will be able to consult the tasks in the administration systems in the integrated learning management systems.
- Filtering by interests, provider or duration in learning sources.
- Learning recommendations.
- Add learning resources to Teams channels through a tab.
